Note: possibility to do a shorter walk of 8km. In the morning, a transfer will take you to the lighthouse of Favaritx. From here, you have spectacular views over the rugged coast and unspoilt coves. Via the lunar landscape of Favaritx, the path leads to the beach of Tortuga, a perfect spot for a swim. From the beach of Tortuga the path turns inland and through the Menorcan countryside where typical drywall constructions are in perfect harmony with the rolling green fields. At the cove of Sa Torreta, the prystine sandy beach and surrounding dunes are a favourite spot of many migratory birds. The path now follows the canal that links the Albufera lagoon with the sea. Arrival at the hotel in Maó.

16.0 km

Transfer to Cala en Porter. We will start our route at Cala en Porter to reach Son Bou Beach, the largest of the Island, where we will find a paleo-Christian basilica and a dune system of great ecologic value. We will head inland to find the orchards of Prat de Son Bou or the Ses Canessies lagoon, one of the most important of the islans. Arrival at Sant Tomàs.

Today is known as the Ravines Walk, because you will be crossing the most important and spectacular ravines of the island. From the hotel you cross the beach of Sant Tomàs and Sant Adeodat and continue to the beach of Binigaus. At the start of the hike you can visit the caves of Es Coloms. You cross the farmland of Binigaus, the ravines of Trebalúger and Es Calafat. You continue until you arrive at the idyllic Cala Mitjana that precedes the unspoilt cove of Cala Mitjaneta. From here, the path continues to Cala Galdana. At the Algendar ravine of Cala Galdana, known for its large amount of caves and grottos, you will be able to spot a wide variety of wildlife.

10.0 km

Today is one of the most spectacular days of our trek, crossing the turquoise coves of Menorca. We begin the hike to Cala Galdana to get to Cala Macarella and Macarelleta, where many aquatic species coexist among the reeds of Santa Anna. Then, crossing wild olive woods and juniper woods we will arrive at the dunes of the paradisiacal beach of Cala en Turqueta. Along the route, we will pass through protected areas with rocky areas are intersected by ravines and creeks. Before arriving to Son Saura, take time to relax in Cala Talaier, a magical spot. Transfer from Son Saura to Ciutadella hotel.

Transfer to the starting point. Today’s walk will lead us through a rocky coastal area, where you will be able to spot predatory birds. We will come across a Hypogeum, underground cisterns and a cross in remembrance of the sinking of the General Chanzy. The closeby dune system is covered in very dense endemic vegetation. At this place, next to a necropolis, there is a small water spring. At Pla de Mar, you will discover a mine. Along the stony path, you will cross wooded areas inhabited by many forest birds. In the surrounding cliffs like the "Muntanya Mala" predatory birds feel at home . We will continue to Els Alocs Beach. Transfer to Port Fornells where you will spend the night.
