Hiking
Coast, Mountains
Self-guided
Between the rugged mountains of the Sierra Tejeda and the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, a hiking tour full of contrasts, light and Andalusian lifestyle unfolds. This route leads through the quiet, unspoilt landscape of the Axarquía, past olive groves, gorges and historic mule tracks that have connected the white villages in the hinterland for centuries.
Day by day, we experience the gentle transition from fertile mountainous terrain to the coast: secluded nature, sweeping panoramas and, time and again, the magic of traditional pueblos blancos such as Sedella, Cómpeta and Frigiliana. The paths tell stories of Moorish heritage, rural culture and a life lived in tune with nature.
The grand finale awaits us by the sea: in Nerja, the mountains meet the Mediterranean – a perfect place to reflect on the impressions of this journey. A week of hiking for connoisseurs, combining exercise, landscape and authentic Andalusia in a special way.
Arrival at Málaga Airport and transfer to the hotel, the starting point of the hiking tour. Depending on your arrival time, there will be time to relax or take a first walk. Information session about the programme for the coming days.
